Not only is she a health pioneer and crusader, she is also a health guru to the stars! Fergie and Katy Perry swear by her! Even Paul Newman took a gander at the apple cider vinegar diet. Brenna and I are not 100% doing a cleanse, fasting, or even partaking in a raw food diet. We just thought that we would try this raw, unfiltered vinegar and see what all the fuss was about.  According to Patricia Briggs- Jesus didn’t turn water into wine, he turned it into raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar!

Just check out some of these testimonials:

Don

Am I nuts? I’m a diabetic, and my blood sugar has been way out of whack for about a year, routinely hitting 300+. I was desperate, and read about your vinegar. I tried it, and have been using it twice a day for a month, once in the morning, once in the evening — a shot of it in a glass of ice cold filtered water, no honey (would that even mix in cold water?) But here is the point: my blood sugar is now normal, rarely over 110. I swear I’ve changed absolutely nothing else in my diet, exercise, or medication. I am double checking it by using two different meters and different test strip lots, etc. I’m astounded and amazed, and find it hard to believe this is possible! But it sure seems to be for real.

Paul — No More Itchy Feet

I’m just sending a note to tell you that I’m very pleased at how well Bragg Apple Cider Vinegar works to eliminate the itching from Athlete’s Foot.  For years I’ve had the problem on the same foot.  I’ve always used a commercial product to stop the itching.  Well, Bragg Apple Cider Vinegar works just as well, and is considerably less expensive.

Jamie — Acushnet, Ma

I have an amazing story to tell you about Bragg Apple Cider Vinegar. I’ve been struggling with high cholesterol for about 6 yrs now, and couldn’t seem to get it down by exercising and watching what I ate. Doctors were concerened, so my mom told me to try the apple cider vinegar. I did it
for three months straight faithfully — a tablespoon twice a day. Just went for my bloodtest, and can\’t belive it I dropped 78 points in just three months it’s amazing!!!! My doctors are asking me what’s the secret, they can’t believe it either. So ,just thought I’d let you know your product really does work. Thank you so much. I’m a very satisfied customer, and will use your products all the time..

Gwen — Chicago, Il

l lost 30 pounds drinking the Bragg ACV and watching my diet. I recommend it to everyone I know and talk to.

Jasmine — Anaheim Hills, CA

I was a boarder line Diabetic, and starting drinking the ACV health drink. Within three months I no longer tested boarder line Diabetic.

Paula Bowen – Kenosha, Wisconsin

This past week Shtinky and I  were able to head on down to St. Ann’s Church and give some blood! I haven’t donated blood since high school, which I pretty much just did (sorry to say it) for the free snacks haha. I didn’t turn green this time and the finger prick was not as bad as I remember. In conclusion-give blood, especially if you are O+! !  (Sally)

Sadly, Shtinky wasn’t allowed to give blood because she had been out of the country in the past 12 months. The doctor who greeted us at the door did not believe Brenna when she said that she went to Djibouti and Bahrain. He laughed in her face then told all of his doctor/nurse friends about this “so-called place.” He then proceeded to look it up by misspelling it with a g-as in Gibouti. Hahaha. After that debacle was over I was finally able to donate my pint of blood. A pint is a lot. Check out the hot pictures from our blood givin photo shoot. It really was a…Sunday…blooooody Sunday!

For this weeks task Shtinky and I will be doing a cleanse that involves organic honey, apple cider vinegar, and water. Sounds delish, right?! This mmmm, mmmm, good concoction is supposed to work wonders on our skin, metabolism, weight, and even our bowels. Just look at all of the benefits of drinking raw, organic apple cider:

  • Potassium – helps to prevent brittle teeth, hair loss, and runny noses.
  • Pectin – helps to regulate blood pressure and reduce bad cholesterol.
  • Malic Acid – gives ACV the properties of being anti-viral, anti-bacterial & anti-fungal.
  • Calcium – helps create strong bones and teeth.
  • Ash – gives ACV its alkaline property which aids your body in maintaining proper pH levels for a healthy alkaline state.
  • Acetic Acid – It appears that this acid slows the digestion of starch which can help to lower the rise in glucose that commonly occurs after meals
  • It can help soothe heartburn
  • Helps clear up skin conditions and blemishes giving a smoother texture and complexion.
  • Helps with joint pain and stiffness.
  • Helps to break down fats so that your body can use them instead of storing them
  • Helps  reduce glucose levels according to researchers at Arizona State University
  • Raw organic apple cider vinegar is even good for pets! It  can help control fleas and can make your pet have a healthy, shinier coat.

I posted new events in the charities page underneath the Free Clinic Section. All of them sound really fun! I’m really excited for the one at the Beachland Ballroom with Carlos Jones and art..sounds like it will be a good time. So be sure to check it out! Also, my mom (also Shtinky’s mom) told me that she might start volunteering at the Free Clinic again 🙂 Yay!

Quick workout update: I killed it at the gym today and deep sweated while watching tv on fancy new elypticals..the Cleveland Heights Rec Center is getting fancier by the day. I also managed to pull/strain a nerve (I think) and was afraid that I was paralyzed from the spine up to my neck. I will never try that curl machine again! Oh well, tomorrow is another day!

PS. There is now a Suggestion Box Page-Brenna and I are open to trying pretty much anything (as long as it is safe/won’t land us in prison.) So feel free to leave comments. Thanks for reading!

<-me, today at the gym, but less ripped
