I posted new events in the charities page underneath the Free Clinic Section. All of them sound really fun! I’m really excited for the one at the Beachland Ballroom with Carlos Jones and art..sounds like it will be a good time. So be sure to check it out! Also, my mom (also Shtinky’s mom) told me that she might start volunteering at the Free Clinic again ūüôā Yay!

Quick workout update: I killed it at the gym today and deep sweated while watching tv on fancy new elypticals..the Cleveland Heights Rec Center is getting fancier by the day. I also managed to pull/strain a nerve (I think) and was afraid that I was paralyzed from the spine up to my neck. I will never try that curl machine again! Oh well, tomorrow is another day!

PS. There is now a Suggestion Box Page-Brenna and I are open to trying pretty much anything (as long as it is safe/won’t land us in prison.) So feel free to leave comments. Thanks for reading!

Choosing this challenge totally made me think back to my days at St. Louis Elementary school and having to do such rigorous activities like bean bag tosses in order to get my Presidential Physical Fitness Award.  So, imagine my surprise when I went to login my first few workouts and realized I had only earned 817 points out of the 20,000 needed to get the bronze medal.  I am going to stay motivated and keep Arnold on the mind for the next 10 million workouts it is going to take to get that medal and certificate signed by Obama.  Well, Arnold as Cohan.

For this week’s task Shtinky and I will be taking on the President’s challenge, specfically the¬†Presidential Champion’s Program¬†(http://www.presidentschallenge.org/). ¬†Shtinky and I will both sign up online for this challenge, which enables us to log our data (what activities we completed ie. playing soccer, running laps, and ¬†how long the activities took to complete) and keep track of how many points we earned. ¬†For every activity that we log and keep track of we will be awarded points.¬† The more energy that is burned during an activity, the more points that we are given.¬† With these points comes perks and prizes, such as the Bronze (20,000 points), Silver, and Gold awards that include a shiny medal and a beautiful certificate signed by the President of the United States!

Take Note:

We will be logging an average of an hour a day from Tuesday until Saturday (5 days).   Head over to the Volunteer, Race, and Training Info page if you wish to see more detials.

If she can do it……so can we! ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬†

*Note: We will most likely be continuing to log in our data after this week is over in order to get the Bronze award and if we are even more ambitious, perhaps the Silver, maybe even one day the Gold.

<-Notice the President’s Challenge t-shirt that you can also get when you participate!
